Driving Business Outcomes through IT

IT solutions space has transformed at an unprecedented rate and today, in order to be successful, hardware businesses need to evolve into service level organizations in accordance with the prevailing digitalization trends. New York based International Integrated Solutions (IIS) is a different kind of IT services provider as they leverage their industry-leading technology and transformational IT services to give the customers a strategic business advantage. IIS include solutions and services along with their hardware components to solve some of the specific problems for the customer base. The company has been providing services around cloud-based solution sets and has taken significant strides in the hybrid cloud and private cloud segments, delivering end-to-end IT solutions and services for greater scalability and faster time to market intervals. “The company customizes its cloud-based solutions to fulfill customer requirements and enable their journey of digital transformation through a wide array of solutions such as Workspace on Demand, Object Storage as a Service, Data Protection Modernization, and Cloud on Demand,” says Peter Ver Eecke, EVP/GM of IIS.

As a company of engineers, IIS is not afraid of technology and are scouting out new technologies, and have taken on some very sophisticated open source stacks like Ormuco, “it has developed an edge capable private cloud SW stack, built on open source technologies, that delivers an AWS like experience and functionality required by app dev teams while delivering a platform with no vendor lock in and superior financial benefits than public cloud,” says Jeff Smith, VP of Business Development, IIS. “Another exciting area of investment is our work with Desktop as a Service (DaaS) providing a centralized on-premise platform that consolidates all the workloads currently running in individual PC’s under peoples desk into the datacenter.” IIS has been a pioneer in building datacenter solutions that include servers, storage, networking, and Virtualization for over two and half decades.

As client solutions evolve to include hyperconverged, private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions with increasing levels of automation, the burden on the IT organizations to support these solutions is being pushed to the breaking point. IIS has created a fully managed platform based on ServiceNow to handle the rapidly changing technical and business requirements faced by IT organizations. The IIS Managed Service Platform is based on standard ITIL and ITOM modules and is flexible enough to be able to provide basic monitoring all the way to full outsourced management solutions. This offering gives clients the ability to free up their internal resources to focus on higher value business solution without getting bogged down with the details of new technologies and public/private cloud operational decisions.

IIS has also invested in developing expertise and strategic partnerships to address hybrid and multi cloud solutions domain. Additionally, the company is developing their engineers and hiring new staff with skills “up the stack” to support this new world of API driven Software Defined Everything. Their integrations center has been built to deliver custommulti rack designs to the customer base and have adopted integration and testing capabilities to deliver extremely diversified configurations fully tested, fully integrated built to look like a piece of art and guaranteed to work out of the crate.

For the days to come, IIS sees the Edge as the next step in the evolution of cloud and are working to position themselves to be successful in the new paradigm. In addition to supporting their current customer Edge initiatives, IIS is also looking towards an opportunity to break into new market segments like discrete manufacturing and process industries. The company is evolving their services delivery and managed services offering to address the need of architecting and implementing edge cloud platforms.
